Seattle Naturalists’ Event Roundup: September 14th to September 20, 2026

Hey Naturalists, this feels like a proper week of fall transition and really good mix of birds, bats, mushrooms, restoration, and stargazing.

As the sun disappears earlier and earlier, there are opportunities for star parties, astrophotography, Astronomy on Tap, and a night walk.

A few other events I’m excited about is Farm Fest at Rainer Beach Urban Farm and Wetlands. In attendance will be Bats NW, Plant Amnesty, Washington Bee Atlas, Real Rent Duwamish, and many other orgs. Also, the Sound Sweep Series cleanup, because sometimes being a naturalist means getting your hands dirty and picking up the weird stuff we people leave behind.

As always, check event pages for updates, registration requirements, and weather-related changes before heading out. Be mindful stewards of the places we visit. Leave no trace, respect wildlife, and help care for the lands and waters that make our region so special.
